After a wearing and stressful day, tonight’s comedy explosion was just what the doctor ordered.
On top of the people I mentioned, Chris Hardwick (aka Nerdist) performed as well. Everybody was amazing. Steve Agee slayed it and Rich Fulcher read us a beautiful poem he wrote about an owl who was really a naked insane man. Zach Galifianakis did some brand new impressions, and the Sklar brothers got mad at me for laughing at a joke that was intentionally meant to be not funny (“Why did the dolphin cross the bay? To get to the other tide!” One of their five year old daughters wrote it. It’s a bad pun and it’s cute. Of course I fucking laughed.)
And now I’m tired and I’m going to bed.
